What are your day jobs? (Claude, Dania, Paul) Claude: ? How many copies of each album have been sold (printed or given away)? Claude: All told, around 370, 000 or so. Actually more. Who knows, really. Have you, Claude, ever approached or been approached by another band to sing vocals (as a guest vocalist)? Claude: Yeah. Mostly, I said no, but I am open to it if the right thing came along. It's about the songs, not the cameos... Next time you are in Chicago, would you consider going on JBTV (I really think you would dig Jerry Bryant) http://www.jbtvonline.com Claude: Oh yeah, why not? :) Next time you are in Houston, would you consider being interviewed by Jeffrey Thames on his show called SOUND AWAKE on 90.1 FM KPFT http://groups.myspace.com/soundawake? Claude: Yes. It looks like it would be fun. How many ABOX songs have been remixed (which and by whom)? Claude: :) My mind draws a blank but there have been many mixes. My favorites have been Hajas, 7Red7, Twitch... Danny Teneglia... Claude, do you like making remixes (referring to Echoing Green), who else have you made them for, and how many? Claude: They were the only ones I ever did a mix for. I did love doing it though. Will you ever grow your hair out again like it was in the PEACE era, and speaking of that ERA, what was the CLAUDE S. AFTER alias all about (I seem to remember some press was written about you with that name)? Claude: I am Claude S. to the world till my last day on earth. Then I'll change my name to Bill. Kidding. As for my hair... We'll see. I'm not sure I can. Have you written songs that other people/bands have recorded, if so, who (m)? Claude: There's been a bunch. Ask our road manager Steve that question. He will know. What happened with your font experiments RJN GOTHIC and DEGENERATE NORMALITY? Claude: I still use them from time to time. I love designing things. I love tinkering. All part of the art of being. That's all, just that. I'm working on a font called Regenerated Abnormality. That was... a joke. Sort of. Do you still keep in touch with THE CAT from CONTROL-ALT-DELETE (the network)? Claude: Oh yes. I love the cat. There is a Sgt. Pepper's sculpture that I got from The Cat that sits in my studio to this day. A nice reminder of a more innocent time... |
